Worship

9:30 am Worship

Every service is uniquely planned--not "traditional" or "contemporary" but according to the leading of God.  This does not mean that every service is totally different from the others, only that we work to plan each worship experience in a way that uses the spiritual gifts and talents of our community so that our worship glorifies God, is accessible to new folks who may be among us, enhances our connection to God and helps us relate to whatever the theme or focus of a particular morning may be.

MORE DETAILS:

8:30 am    Music/drama/dance preparation/rehearsals by groups involved in worship that day

9:30  The community gathers for worship

Worship is held in a beautiful sanctuary with stunning stained-glass windows and other moving art.  During the summer we move to Fellowship Hall for worship due to the fact that our sanctuary is not air-conditioned.   Coffee and tea are available in the Hospitality area.

11 am   The "Growing in Grace" Hour
This is an hour when we offer many and varied spiritual formation and service opportunities for experiencing the abundant grace of God as we encourage one another to grow in faithfulness and love.

Approximately Once a Month after 9:30 Worship:  "Hands-On-Worship"  Outing
Interested folks gather after worship in the sanctuary ends to go do missional projects in the community.  This includes people of all ages; parents may leave the smallest children in childcare while they serve for an hour in the world.
