Rev. Sarah Strosahl-Kagi

Pastor
(she/her/hers)

One hot summer day, Sarah and her family- husband Josh, and kids Asher and Ellie- found a guinea pig wandering in their Southeastern PA yard. And that’s pretty much how her life and ministry have always been- delightfully unexpected, with notes of whimsy and urgency.

Prior to coming to RBC, Pastor Sarah worked at the American Baptist Home Mission Societies, International Ministries, and taught preschool. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Andover Newton Theological School, she holds degrees in music education and international affairs, certificates in Latin American Studies and Spanish, as well as a Master of Divinity with certificates in Ethics and Social Justice and Religion and Conflict Transformation.  All that to say, her joy in ministry occurs at the intersections of creativity, justice, and relationships. Sarah is passionate about creating safe and brave spaces where all feel truly welcome. She also serves as volunteer chaplain to the Royersford Fire Department, Young Clergy Women International, and International Ministries. In her free time Sarah enjoys crafting, playing the marimba, eating tacos, watching baseball, and spending time with her family.

By the way, that guinea pig is now called Peaches and along with another rescued guinea pig (Thor), rescued cat (Janet) and rescued dog (Stout) is part of the Strosahl-Kagi family.
