We worship together on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM, both in-person at RBC and online.
What should I expect at worship?
Our worship style is a mix of traditional and contemporary. Some people dress up, and many dress casually. We have time for singing, time devoted to our children, scripture readings and a sermon- or sometimes we have a couch up front or gather around a table and talk about our faith together. We believe there are many ways to worship God and we enjoy being creative in our worship experiences together!
What about kids?
Children are always welcomed and embraced in our worship. We have a prayground in our sanctuary where young children and their caretakers can go to color, do puzzles, and play with quiet toys as they engage in worship in ways that are meaningful to them. Our children typically leave the service midway through to attend RBC Kids classes, but if they prefer to stay that is fine, too! Wiggles and giggles of children small and big don’t bother us here.
How is the music?
At RBC we have an eclectic variety of music. Our Minister of Music, Alex Cifelli, works closely with our worship staff to create meaningful, engaging music experiences during worship. Our adult choir provides music on many Sundays throughout the year. Anyone is welcome to join our choir! Contact the church office for the most up-to-date rehearsal schedule. Our children’s choir sings periodically during worship as well. We also have a variety of instrumentalists- you might even catch Pastor Sarah playing her marimba!
Where do I go?
September-June (approximately) we worship in our beautiful sanctuary equipped with movable seats making it accessible to all. In the warmer months, we worship in our air conditioned fellowship hall- it’s located at the opposite end of the building from the sanctuary. Both rooms can be easily accessed from any door in the building. We also have gender neutral and accessible bathrooms in our building.
